Green & Clean Huntley Day - April 24

FOR EVERYONE
Take a tour of the West Wastewater Treatment Plant - West Main Street
Join us between 9am - 1pm (tours take approximately 1 hour—last tour begins at Noon).
Culvers Kids Coloring Contest - Kids pick up a coloring sheet at Culvers of Huntley or Huntley Village Hall (10987 Main Street) from  April 5 — April 24 and bring your best coloring work back to Culvers of Huntley by April 25 to get a free scoop! (no purchase necessary). 

FOR HUNTLEY RESIDENTS ONLY (IDs will be checked)-NO WALK-INs ALLOWED
Electronics Recycling:     The Village will be accepting your unwanted residential-only electronics at the Municipal Complex parking lot from 9am to Noon (or until dumpsters are full whichever is first) Volunteers will be on hand to unload your vehicle - please stay in your vehicle.
Due to the popularity of this free event - expect long lines.

Due to Space Limitations only 1 TV OR 1 Computer Monitor will be accepted per vehicle. 

Printer Cartridge Recycling:  We are collecting all empty printer ink cartridges from 9am - Noon 

Paper/Document Destruction AMS Store and Shred will be accepting documents for destruction from 9am - Noon at the Municipal Complex parking lot.   

Spring Cleaning Drop Off   Clean out your basement/garage and drop off items (see item details on reverse side) at Public Works on East Main Street & Donald Drive from 9am - Noon.  Volunteers will unload your vehicle.   

ColorCycle Marker Recycling:  We are collecting all brands of plastic markers, dry erase markers and highlighters from 9am - Noon  helping to eliminate tons of markers into landfills.  

Gently-Used Book Drive      Bring your gently used books from 9am to Noon to the Municipal Complex to be donated to non-profit organizations.  Encyclopedias will not be accepted. 

 Lion’s Club Eyeglass Collection & Recycling:  Through the Lion’s Club we will donate them to help improve the quality of life for children and adults living in low and middle income communities around the world.  We’ll be at the Municipal Complex from 9am to Noon.

 Free Mulch Pickup  Come to Public Works on Donald Drive from 9am to Noon and pickup free mulch for  your yard.  Please bring your own containers.  

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day  Drop your unused medications (pills only)  off from  9 am - 2 pm at the Municipal Complex.  Take pills out of original containers and bring in a paper or plastic bag.  No syringes or liquids accepted.
