Stormwater Management Program

The Village of Huntley is committed to managing and mitigating the effects of urbanization on stormwater drainage throughout the Village by means of planning, applying appropriate engineering practices and enforcing proper maintenance of stormwater management facilities.  The Village has adopted the Kane County Stormwater Ordinance to promote effective, equitable, acceptable and legal stormwater management measures by establishing reasonable rules and regulations for development.  Furthermore, to provide developers and applicants assistance in complying with the Stormwater Ordinance and the technical requirements of a stormwater permit application, Kane County has developed the Kane County Technical Guidance Manual as a technical guide.
