FOIA
The Huntley Police Department will fulfill all records requests in accordance with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requirements (5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.). All FOIA requests must be made in writing and will be accepted via electronic form, mail, fax and e-mail. In addition, FOIA requests can be made at the Huntley Police Department Monday though Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, excluding certain state and federal holidays.

The following records are available for immediate release (no FOIA request required):
- Approved 10-50 crash reports that do not involve a criminal investigation.
- Copies of Village of Huntley Ordinances.
- HPD police report summaries.
